I also remember GML GMs asking a 3rd for Trevor Siemen.

To be fair the GML set the bar with Kirk Cousins going for a 3rd/4th rounder. The NFL has always followed suit.

I mean the 3rd for cousins in our case was for him on the tag at like $28 mil or something. It was still an undersell compared to the gobs of money Minnesota gave him, but in GML it wasn’t so outlandish; no one wanted that cap hit.

A 3rd for Siemien is hilarious tho. But it’ll be interesting to see how the irl Flacco deal impacts gml qb deals.

Peyton with a broken neck got that when the cap was 52 million opposed to 170 million.
